Ms. Cavers, a native Texan at heart, has been active in the
business
and legal community for over 15 years. Ms. Cavers has practiced
law in
Houston since 2004, and is licensed by the Texas Supreme Court.
She
graduated suma cum laude from Sam Houston State University with a
degree in Political Science. Thereafter Ms. Cavers attended
graduate
school at the University of Texas-Houston Health Science Center
School
of Public Health and studied environmental science.
Ms. Cavers
graduated from South Texas College of Law in May 2004 in the top
1/3rd of her class, and was inducted into Phi Delta Phi National
Honor Society. During law
school
Ms. Cavers clerked for Kennedy Hodges PLLC and Harris County
Probate Court No. 1 assisting the court investigator with guardianship cases. Ms.
Cavers
also served as a volunteer ad litem through Children's Friend in
Court.
In addition to providing traditional family law representation, Ms. Cavers is a collaborative law attorney, receiving her training from Janet P. Brumley of Verner & Brumley, P.C. in Dallas, Texas. Ms. Cavers is also a mediator.
Before forming The Cavers Law Firm, LLC, Ms. Cavers practiced law
as a
civil litigator with Munisteri, Sprott, Rigby, Newsom & Robbins,
P.C. in
the areas of insurance and toxic tort defense.
Ms. Cavers’ professional passion lies in assisting individuals,
families,
and small businesses meet their unique legal needs.
